Clemson QB Watson has torn ACL
By: Marc Dopher, wyff4.com

Quarterback Deshaun Watson has left No. 18 Clemson's game against No. 24 Georgia Tech with an apparent left knee injury.

Watson, who returned as a starter after missing three games with a broken bone in his right hand, was hurt when making a cut late in the first quarter of Saturday's game. Watson ran for 7 yards and a first down before falling to the ground and grabbing his left knee.

Watson, a freshman, walked off the field and was escorted to the locker room. Clemson did not have an immediate update on the severity of his injury but during halftime the time tweeted out a message saying Watson was done for the day.

Cole Stoudt replaced Watson and had a pass intercepted on his third play by Jamal Golden and returned 93 yards for a touchdown.

After the game multiple reports surfaced from ClemsonInsider.com that Watson has torn his ACL and will be out for the rest of the season.

So much for it being confirmed. Why would they say it was torn then say it wasn't? Trying to psych out the coots? ROFL.
