Damn 4 grand? I don;t think so. I love him as a player, but not enough to fork out 4 grand, and it isn't even his Orange Bowl jersey.

Yeah $4000 is a little steep. The most I have ever seen a jersey go for was $2500, and that was a bowl game used Hopkins jersey.

Well it is his All-American jersey, but I do not think it was worth $2,600. I bet someone bought it thinking he is going to do great things in the NFL and hoping it will shoot up in price. After collecting jerseys for a number of years, I think either his rookie year jersey's in the NFl and his actual Clemson jerseys will be worth more.
All in all, it was worth $2,600 to the buyer.
