Another Accolade for Memorial Stadium

Clemson fans know how special Memorial Stadium is but it’s always nice to see national recognition for the home of Clemson Football. That’s why it was great to see Memorial Stadium selected by Bleacher Report as one of the Top 25 College Football Stadiums of 2015, ranked at No. 8 above the likes of college football powers like Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium, Florida State’s Doak Campbell Stadium and in-state rival South Carolina’s Williams-Brice Stadium.

Opened in 1942, Death Valley (capacity 81,500), has long given opponents trouble including in 2014 as the Tigers went undefeated at home en route to their fourth straight 10-win season under Dabo Swinney. Memorial Stadium also boasts some of college football’s greatest traditions: Howard’s Rock and The Most Exciting 25 Seconds of College Football.
